Elegance

Many physicists and mathematicians consider elegance, conformity to fact an indicator of truth. Like a jigsaw puzzle whose pieces weren’t forced to fit and came in the box, the properly assembled picture is most likely true, what the manufacturer intended. When pieces are reshaped and forced to fit or belong to other puzzles, the picture formed is usually false, not what the manufacturer of the jigsaw puzzle intended.
