In the End Time God’s lifts His restraint completely, permitting Satan’s angels (the Nephilim; the “Fallen Ones”) to once again walk among men physically as they did in the Days of Noah (Gen. 6:4; Rev. 12:4, 7-9) and do great signs and wonders deceiving mankind to believe “ancient alien theory” and unite humanity against Christ (Rev. 16:13-14, 16) .

The sign of Israel’s regathering (Luke 21:24) coincided with a spectacular rise in UFO events that confirm this is the End Time. Luis “Lue” Elizondo former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), the Pentagon unit that researched UFOs now known as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) reports a nonhuman body was recovered from a UFO crash.

Several of the senior officials I worked with eventually told me that when one of my colleagues worked at the CIA some decades earlier, he was given an official report/autopsy of the dissection of a nonhuman body that was recovered from an unspecified crashed UAP. This colleague asked me not to use his name. The report stated that the brain had no convolutions (the wrinkled exterior portion of the brain). Rather, what was described was a smooth surface, similar to lower-functioning animals here on earth. It also described a conjoined gut and liver, and a three-chambered heart, like reptiles. The author of the autopsy came to the conclusion the cadaver did not appear to have the requisite brain capacity to design and create aircraft capable of such stunning maneuverability. Although this conclusion of lower intelligence was later disputed, no evidence came forth to disprove the original conclusion.

Satan has successfully deceived the planet extraterrestrials are active on earth. To corrupt the two main Christian nations Britain and America (the beast government with two horns led by a false prophet ruler), Satan created semi-intelligent drones to pilot the “ufo ships” that “accidentally” crash on earth. This stratagem not only corrupts Christian nations destroying their faith in God, it ensures “alien technology” will be available when the Antichrist arrives to subdue to earth.

11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Satan has the power to produce semi-intelligent life forms. During the Exodus when God sent Moses to command the children of Israel be freed, God caused Aaron’s rod to become a serpent to prove Moses was under His command. However, Satan was able to duplicate that miracle, transforming plant life into reptilian life which caused Pharoah to harden his heart and refuse to let them go:

9 “When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying,`Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron,`Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.'”
10 So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the LORD commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

Just as God chose a miracle be done before Pharoah that He knew Satan could duplicate—thus “sending Pharoah the strong delusion” resistance was possible (Ex. 9:12-16), so also God removes all restraint on Satan’s power so he will successfully deceive the Earth “ancient alien theory” is true.

All who reject the truth of the Bible taking pleasure in unrighteousness will be deceived (2 Thess. 2:9-12). God lets them have what they chose. He stops restraining anything that would prevent their filling up the full measure of their sin lest their punishment be less than they deserve.

The only true “Disclosure” of the UFO spectacle takes place in the pages of Scripture. Satan’s plan is to destroy as much of mankind as he can in his final act of hatred for God.

Words are closed up and sealed

In Daniel 12:4 the angel commands the preservation of the words of the vision by closing and sealing the book. Once the original is preserved from changes, unclosed and unsealed copies are made for study (Jer. 32:9-12). “Many will go here and there [throughout the earth looking for answers (compare Amos 8:12; 2 Chron. 16:9; Zech. 4:10), and “the knowledge” shall increase.

4 “But you, Daniel, shut up (05640 סָתַם catham) the words, and seal (02856 חָתַם chatham ) the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro (07751 סוּט shuwt), and knowledge shall increase.”

So “the knowledge” shall increase as interpreters go “to and fro” in the “the time of the end” to discover the new meaning old words have. Prior to the End Time Generation, some of the words remain “closed up and sealed.”

8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?”
9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up (05640 סָתַם catham) and sealed (02856 חָתַם chatham ) till the time (06256 עֵת `eth) of the end (07093 קֵץ qets).

“Closed up” and “sealed” reappear in Daniel 12:9 with a change in meaning, now words in the vision are “obscure” and “mysterious” and there is no reference to literally “shutting up” and “sealing” the book to preserve its words from harm.

End time events “open up” and “unseal” what is “obscure” and “mysterious”, not “special revelation by God’s Holy Spirit.” “The wise (prudent, circumspect) shall understand”. Everyone “critically thinking” on the text and looking “to and fro” in End Time events will discern the meaning of the prophecy.

Until End Time events uncover the new meaning of old words, they remain obscure and mysterious. The prophet Daniel illustrates this perfectly. Daniel and his associates were experts in Jewish customs, its Temple and sacrifices including past interruptions of its Daily Sacrifices. Yet in prophecies which todays interpreters so confidently apply to Antiochus and Antichrist and a third Temple yet to be rebuilt, Daniel and his contemporaries don’t understand the vision at all.

27 And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick for days; afterward I arose and went about the king’s business. I was astonished by the vision, but no one understood it. (Dan. 8:27 NKJ)

The events giving new meaning to old terminology had not yet happened in Daniel’s time. It was not until the New Covenant in Christ’s blood we see a new application for old terms like “Temple of God” and “Daily Sacrifice”. The “saints” now include the greater “Israel of God” (Gal. 6:15-16), Jew and Gentile descendants of Abraham’s seed (Gal. 3:27-29). The Temple priesthood and Daily Sacrifice are in the Christian Church. The Church is the Temple of God (1 Cor. 3:16-17; 6:19; 2 Cor. 6:16; Eph. 2:21), Christians its priests (1 Pet. 2:5). We offer up “the Daily Sacrifice” (1 Pet. 2:5; Rom. 12:1; Lk. 9:23; Heb. 13:15).

It was impossible Daniel understand his own prophecy even though he was expert in Jewish custom and law and specially gifted by Holy Spirit to interpret visions and enigmas (Dan. 4:8-9, 18; 5:11-12). Without knowledge of these new events, the words remained “closed up” and “sealed.”

As it is “end time events” that “open up and unseal” what is “obscure and mysterious”, special revelation by God is not required for the critical thinker studying the text to know what it predicts. Only those living in the End Time will have all the necessary information to know what Daniel’s prophecy predicts.

Star Wars in Daniel

It grew so big it reached the army (06635 צָבָא tsaba’) of heaven, and it brought about the fall of some of the army (06635 צָבָא tsaba’) and some of the stars (03556 כּוֹכָב kowkab) to the ground, where it trampled them. (Dan. 8:10 NET)

And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick for days; afterward I arose and went about the king’s business. I was astonished by the vision, but no one understood it. (Dan. 8:27 NKJ)

Why was Daniel “astonished” by this vision? Recall God specially gifted Daniel to understand enigma and vision (Dan. 2:47; 4:8-9; 5:11-12). So why couldn’t he understand this vision, why didn’t his fellow experts in scripture interpretation “understand it”.

How likely is it modern Commentators, who see nothing astonishing in this context, see same thing Daniel is seeing described by his words? Why aren’t they also “astonished” and made “sick for days”?

The most likely explanation for their different reaction is, they are seeing different events described by the words. Looked at from another angle. modern commentators claim the “little Horn” is Antiochus and the “army of God” or “stars” may be Israel’s saints, priests or chief rulers. How could any of that “astonish” Daniel and his fellow experts in Scripture prophecy? They were living in exile caused by King Nebuchadnezzar when he defeated the “saints” and “army” and then destroyed God’s Temple in Jerusalem. How could seeing that duplicated in a vision “astonish” Daniel?

Therefore, the normally sound rule for interpreting ancient documents according to the understanding of the author may not be sound for this prophecy of what will happen in the future, Daniel confesses he is astonished by the vision and neither he nor his friends understood it.

So how can we interpret Daniel’s prophecy? Scripture says “the wise shall understand” in the “time of the end”, wise being “critical thinkers” “the wise” and “prudent” able to infer from events in the end time what astonished Daniel. So the predicted events would unseal the words:

8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?”
9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 “Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. (Dan. 12:8-10 NKJ)

Therefore, we must look at End Time events to infer what might have astonished Daniel and made him sick for days. Confirming this, Gabriel said the vision occurs in the End Time, not the time of Antiochus Epiphanes.

So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end.” (Dan. 8:17 NKJ)

We who live in the End Times know what the coming “strong delusion” (2 Thess. 2:9-12) , “Ancient Alien Theory” that promotes Atheism. The spectacular rise of UFO spectacles is causing a massive falling away from belief in God.

Given that context, what could the “army of heaven” and “Stars” be?

All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?” (Dan. 4:35 NKJ)

Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come. (Dan. 10:20 NKJ)

They fought from the heavens; The stars from their courses fought against Sisera. (Jdg. 5:20 NKJ)

And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, (Rev. 12:7 NKJ)

And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. (Rev. 19:14 NKJ)

Daniel saw a version of “Star Wars”, God’s angels fighting Satan’s angels in service to the Antichrist, in the end time.

Today, words describing such battles are “unsealed”, easily understood.

Gabriel distinguishes between “the mighty” (= the stars) and “the holy people” (=the army of heaven):

24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty (06099 עָצוּם `atsuwm), and also the holy people. (Dan. 8:24 NKJ)

In Joel 2:11 “mighty” refers to angels:

ADONAI shouts orders to his forces- his army is immense, mighty (06099 עָצוּם `atsuwm), and it does what he says. For great is the Day of ADONAI, fearsome, terrifying! Who can endure it? (Joel 2:11 CJB)

Joel stopped talking about locusts or humans, he telescopes to the End Time when he speaks of “the day of the LORD great and terrible.” Therefore, the “mighty army” are angels who in the End Time slay the armies of the Beast, the Assyrian Antichrist whose name is Adonikam (Mic. 5:5-6; Isa. 10:24, 32; 14:25-27; 30:31-33; Zeph. 2:13-15; Zech. 12:2-3; 14:1-4; Rev. 19:17-21).

A “Star Wars” event WOULD astonish and confuse Daniel and all his contemporaries. Especially when the “sanctuary” is the Body of Christ the Temple of God and “the Daily” is their taking up Christ’s cross daily and counting 2,300 days from the start of the End Time Week, the vindicated[1] Church the Temple of God celebrates in heaven (Rev. 15:1-4).

The army (“host”) of heaven denotes both redeemed humanity (Ps. 110:3; Exod. 7:4; Rev. 19:14) and angelic soldiers (1 Kings 22:19). Even some of “the stars” (angels Job 38:7; Ps. 148:2) were brought down, meaning they crashed to the earth (Judg. 5:20; Dan. 10:13, 20; Rev. 12:7-9) and both are dishonored.

Its power reached to the heavens, where it attacked the heavenly army, throwing some of the heavenly beings and some of the stars to the ground and trampling them. (Dan. 8:10 NLT)

The Interpretation
The Assyrian Antichrist (Mic. 5:5-6; Isa. 10:24, 32; 14:25-27; 30:31-33; Zeph. 2:13-15; Zech. 12:2-3; 14:1-4; Rev. 19:17-21) rises from the remnants of the Seleucid dynasty, ancient Grecian Syria. Hence the end time revived Byzantine Roman Empire has a leopard body (Dan. 2:40-44; 7:7-9, 17-27; Rev. 13:2). I infer from the parallels with Antiochus Epiphanes he will rise up in modern Turkey near Antioch his ancient capital.

The usual translation of Dan. 8:14 “sanctuary will be cleansed” is chosen over a more literal and likely meaning, “will be vindicated” because translators refuse to allow Daniel is prophecy actually foretelling events. The vindication of the church’s faith is pictured in Revelation 15:1-8. It appears suddenly disconnected to the surrounding events. Chronologically, it 2,300 days after the beginning of the end time week, after everyone is raptured or gathered by Christ angels. Their faith in God now vindicated and celebrated in heaven.

Commentators reject the literal reading because:

will be purified. The Hebrew verb, weniṣdaq (the only occurrence of the niphal of ṣdq in the MT!) should mean “will be justified.” But this can hardly be said of the sanctuary. The underlying Aramaic was surely yidkê, “will be cleansed, purified,” which was corrupted into, or misread by the translator as yizkê, “will be victorious, justified.”- Hartman, L. It is NOT unhistorical the “Temple of God” prophetically in the End Time is the Church (1 Cor. 3:16-17; 6:19. 2 Cor. 6:16. 2 Thess. 2:4. Eph. 2:21), then the literal meaning of the Church being vindicated for her faith in God could be what the text is literally referring to. Of course, reference to the Church, the vision of the Church would likely add to the reasons why these visions were “sealed” to Daniel, he couldn’t understand them. End time events would unseal the words (Dan. 12:8-9).

What is the “wing of abominations” in Daniel 9:27?

A literal rendering of the Hebrew text is, “And on the wing of abominations one who causes desolation [will come].”-Miller, S. R. (1994). Daniel (Vol. 18, pp. 272–273). Nashville: Broadman & Holman Publishers.

“Abominations” usually refers to idols (Dt. 29:16; Jer. 7:30; 16:18; 32:34; Ezek. 5:11; 7:20; 11:21; 20:7, 8, 30; 37:23), hence “wing of idols” doesn’t make sense. How can [plural] idols have just one [singular] wing? Hence interpreters ancient and modern remove the conflict, changing “wing” into “wings” or “abominations” into “abomination”, then interpret the verse.

However, when an explanation does not conform to fact it is no longer “true”. Rather than change God’s Word to fit a preferred interpretation, why not change the assumptions of the Interpreters and see if that “opens up” and “unseals” the words in this time of the End (Dan. 12:9)?

The plural šiqqûṣîm, ‘abominations’, refers to unspecified deities other than the LORD and their respective cult statues in Deut 29:16; Jer 7:30; 16:18; 32:34; Ezek 5:11; 7:20; 11:21; 20:7, 8, 30; 37:23.-Gruber, M. A “wing” infested with demons would fit the description of a “wing of abominations”. In Luke 8:30 A “Legion” of demons control a single man.

What did Daniel mean by “wing of abominations”? Recall he is seeing the future End Time when things exist that would “astonish” him” (Dan. 8:27), such as flying vehicles:

But from such passages as Deut. 32:11, Ex. 19:4, and Ps. 18:11, we perceive the sense in which wings are attributed to the שִׁקּוּצִים, the idolatrous objects. In the first of these passages (Deut. 32:11), wings, the wings of an eagle, are attributed to God, because He is the power which raises up Israel, and lifting it up, and carrying it throughout its history, guides it over the earth. In P. 18 wings are attributed to the wind, because the wind is contemplated as the power which carries out the will of God throughout the kingdom of nature. “Thus in this passage wings are attributed to the שִׁקּוּצִים, idol-objects, and to idolatry with its abominations, because that shall be the power which lifts upwards the destroyer and desolater, carries him, and moves with him over the earth to lay waste” (Klief.)-Keil, C. Although Keil did change “wing” to “wings”, he ably connects the dots between the demons energizing idols and the “wing of abominations.”

Many reports of UFO/UAP craft comment on the lack of any visible means of propulsion. These reports do not necessarily conflict with Bob Lazar’s testimony of an “antimatter propulsion reactor” powering the ship he worked on. The facts surrounding UAP events imply the existence of both purely demonic entities (which violate all known laws of physics and appear and disappear with ease); and the deployment of physical objects that leave physical evidence and show up on radar etc., These transit into our Matrix through a “trans dimensional portal” (cp. 2 Ki. 2:11) into the TELEIOS (“heavenly places”) Satan and his corporeal angels inhabit (Eph. 6:12; Rev. 12:7-9).

The Desolator (Beast) commands this “flying abomination of desolation” to terrorize the earth desolating all who oppose him.

2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

The False Christ (Man of Sin) will reign for seven years. He will promise to respect the world’s religions. But after 3 ½ years “Chancellor” Adonikam morphs into the Son of Satan Antichrist and he will destroy the Great Harlot Babylon world Empire of false religion, demanding all worship him. And on flying wings of fallen angel technology Satan the Destroyer will rain down destruction upon all who oppose his Seed the Son of Destruction Adonikam, This continues for 3 ½ years until Adonikim’s prophesied end at Armageddon, and he is cast in the lake of fire.

The False Christ (Man of Sin) will reign for seven years

The prophecy telescopes to the end time “week” because Christ died in the Seventieth Week. AFTER the “seven and sixty two weeks Messiah shall be cut off” (Dan. 9:25-26).

Therefore Dan. 9:26b should begin a new verse:

26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;

26b And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

The “Seventy Weeks” end when Christ ushers in the New Covenant in His Blood. Everything listed in Daniel 9:24 is fulfilled. See Seventy Weeks Explained

What happens thereafter is not part of the Seventy weeks. The Destruction of the Temple by Titus in 70 A.D., then in 136 A.D. Hadrian drives the Jews out of Jerusalem to become a pagan city.

Christ’s prophecy covers the time from the end of the Seventy weeks, “the times of the Gentiles” go from 70 AD to the End Time when Christ sets up His Kingdom. The last seven-year period is not part of the Seventy Weeks.

Daniel 9:27 telescopes to the end time, from the people who destroyed Jerusalem to the rise of the Grecian Roman Empire the Elohim insist be created, that lasts seven years (Rev. 13:1-2). Because Adonikam the False Christ hailed Satan’s arrival as the “kingdom of God” he is made its “Chancellor” and for 3.5 years the “man of sin” conquers the earth with the false gospel of scientific Atheism. After 42 months he reveals he is the “seed of Satan” Son of Destruction (2 Thess. 2:3-4; Rev. 13:5). Harlot Babylon is then destroyed, only the 666 religion permitted. Without the political protection of Babylon the church is persecuted into near extinction.

There is no contradiction, the “Sacrifice and offering” in Dan. 9:27 refers to any sacrifice and offering (Num 25:2; Isa. 66:3) unlike the “daily” sacrifice of the lamb in the Temple. Therefore, in Daniel 9:27 the Man of Sin breaks his covenant with the world’s religions at mid-week, when he declares himself God. In Daniel 12:11 the “end time clock” begins when Christendom’s “daily sacrifice” to God end, and they worship the false Christ man of sin, at the beginning of the seven-year end time “week”.

Christ is our “continual” [08548 תָּמִיד tamiyd] sacrifice (ἡ θυσία δι παντoς, LXX) . Confirming this, the apostles apply Old Testament Temple imagery to the Church, calling it “the Temple of God” (1 Cor. 3:16-17; 6:19; 2 Cor. 6:16; 2 Thess. 2:4; Eph. 2:21). Its members Temple priests (1 Pet. 2:5).

you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Pet. 2:5) NKJ

As we take up Christ’s cross daily (Lk. 9:23) our sacrifice and service is continual:

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (Heb. 13:15) NKJ

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. (Rom. 12:1) NKJ

The End Time “clock” starts when the fallen away Church receives the Antichrist as Christ. The Antichrist breaks his covenant with the world’s religions when he declares himself God and outlaws all other worship than to him.

The “man of sin” false Christ morphs into the “Son of Perdition” (2 Thess. 2:3) at “mid-week” or 1,260 days (42 months, 3 1/2 years) (Dan. 9:27; Rev. 13:5). The beast with two horns like a lamb Britain and America convinced the world to build a global network to manage the earth’s dwindling resources as famine, pestilence, civil unrest and war overwhelmed the earth’s ability to manage the crises. When Russia Turkey and allies nuke the rebuilt city of Babylon, Britain and America rise unite to form two-horned beast under an individual called the “False Prophet” (Rev. 16:13; 19:20; 20:10) and rise to support of the wounded Grecian Empire Beast (Rev. 13:11-2). Formerly Christian free market nations, they now speak like a Devil. For decades Satan seeded their black-operations with fallen-angel technology through the ruse (Roswell etc.) of crashed spaceships, piloted by plant-based drones (Exod. 7:11-12). Their military capability enhanced far above all other military power on earth. That advanced technology causes Russia and allies to cease attacking the Beast’s empire. The Anglo-American false prophet deceives the nations into networking their economies with the Beast, to manage resources against the global depression the destruction of the city of Babylon caused. Then the earth’s economies are commandeered by that very network (Rev. 13:14-17).

When Adonikam declares himself God his interface with the AI enhanced network truly affords him godlike abilities such as seeing and hearing in real time everywhere a device is connected. The AI programmed in his image, is an “abomination that causes desolation” able to kill anyone who tries to disconnect. It required 30 days to fully set up, or 1,290 days counting from the beginning of the end time week. Blessed are Christians who are still alive after the intense persecution that follows, for at 1, 335 days they will be raptured:

The Mystery of Lawlessness: An Analytical Examination

The term “mystery of lawlessness,” as presented in 2 Thessalonians 2:7, has been a subject of extensive theological analysis. To comprehend its essence, we can deconstruct the concept through a series of premises leading to a logical conclusion, incorporating relevant scriptural texts.

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”

Premise 4: Deceiving Spirits are agents of the ‘Mystery of Lawlessness’:

The “spirit…word…letter” shaking the minds of the Thessalonians with the false claim  “the day of Christ had come” (2 Thessalonians 2:2) was the “mystery of lawlessness” already at work.

“Not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.”

Premise 5: The identity of the “Restrainer”is the Holy Spirit

The “Restrainer” was therefore known to the Thessalonians to be the Holy Spirit as it was He who was restraining the lies about the Day of Christ directly and through Paul’s correction (2 Thessalonians 2:1-6):

1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
 ² not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.

Scriptural references identify Satan as the primary force behind this lawlessness. In 2 Thessalonians 2:9, the coming of the lawless one is described as being “according to the working of Satan,” highlighting his role in orchestrating this rebellion. The verse states:

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.”

Premise 7: Manifestation Through Deception and False Teachings

The mystery manifests through deceptive practices, including false teachings and misleading doctrines. 1 Timothy 4:1 warns of individuals following “deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,” illustrating the propagation of lawlessness through spiritual deception:

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”

Additionally, 2 Corinthians 11:14 cautions:

“And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”

Premise 8: Deceiving spirits are the “deluding influence” God sends

God sent the “strong deluding influence” when the Holy Spirit stopped restraining the ‘mystery of lawlessness’ from inspiring “strong delusion” among those who perish.

⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.
⁸ Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;

Conclusion: The ‘Mystery of Lawlessness’ as a Supernatural Campaign

Synthesizing these premises, the “mystery of lawlessness” was already working in Thessalonians through deceptive letters and prophecy which had upset their minds “the resurrection was past”. Therefore, the “mystery of lawlessness” unrestrained in the End Time is a massive satanically induced delusion the Antichrist is Christ. It is an ongoing, covert operation of rebellion against God’s order, orchestrated by Satan. It operates through “deceiving spirits” promulgating  heresy and apostasy. “Unrighteous deception” and false teachings, subtly influencing humanity towards lawlessness, that will be completely unrestrained in its ultimate revelation in the End Time culminating in belief in the Antichrist after the Church as ‘fallen away’ from its belief in Holy Scripture:

Scholars have questioned why John’s Four riders in the apocalypse (Rev. 6:1-8) don’t include the end-time “earthquakes” Jesus included in His list of end-time signs (Mt. 24:7; Mk. 13:8; Lk. 21:11). The reason is, Satan doesn’t cause the earthquakes that result naturally from “plate tectonics”. The first four riders symbolize Satanic activity inspiring the False Christ, war, famine and plague designed to overwhelm the earth’s ability to cope with existential crisis so it accepts the Dragon’s radical solutions for global peace and safety enabling the first rider the “False Christ” “conquer” the earth; that otherwise would have been rejected by many nations and viewed with great distrust and suspicion.

Tares will outnumber the Wheat in the End Time (Matt. 13:24-30). Paul (1 Tim. 4:1–3; 2 Tim. 3:1–5; 4:3–4) and the other apostles (2 Peter 2:1; 3:3; Jude 1:18; 1 John 2:18-19; 4:3-6) warned about this end time apostasy, churches so lawless they receive “the Lawless One” “Man of Sin” (man who condones sin) as “the Christ”. [002] God’s Restraint on Satanic Deception Removed 2 Thess. 2:6-7

6 And now you know what is restraining (κατέχον), that he may be revealed in his own time.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains (κατέχων) will do so until He is taken out of the way. (2 Thess. 2:6-7 NKJ)

The “mystery” (3466 μυστήριον musterion) or “secret power” (NIV) of lawlessness is “the working (1753 ἐνέργεια energeia) of Satan” that was already inspiring belief in falsehood through evil “spirit…word…letter” (2 Thess. 2:2) shaking the faith of Thessalonians “the resurrection is already past” (2 Tim. 2:18), and the Church was raptured (1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-52) leaving them behind.

Only God can restrain “Satanic energy that inspires lawlessness” i.e., “spiritism”. Some are confused about that because the “(thing) restraining” (neuter) has gender in verse 7 the “(one) restraining”. How can God be “taken out of the way”? Elementary, God’s decree (δόγμα) is the “thing” restraining Satanic power. The Katechon Restrainer of the Mystery of Lawlessness: Who is He?

As Satan and Nephilim haven’t appeared physically on earth since the flood of Noah’s Day (Rev. 12:4; Gen. 3:1-5; 6:4), one restraint has prevented the physical appearance of the Nephilim “Fallen Ones” on earth. But Jesus words here imply that restraint will be lifted, both the angelic sons of God and Satan’s “fallen Ones” the Nephilim took human wives (Gen. 6:2, 4):

26 “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:
27 “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. (Lk. 17:26-27 NKJ)

The restraint on Satanic energy is in stages, revealed in the book of Revelation and is a consequence of Christendom’s apostasy from God’s Law (Th. 2:11-12). A judgment the apostate Tares reveal themselves within the seven-year time allotted for the End Time “week”.

First evil spirits are released from the abyss prison (Rev. 9:1-3); Second the symbolic Euphrates removed as a dimensional barrier into Israel and therefore the Earth. Demons enter this realm (Rev. 9:14-16; 16:12). Third Michael and his angels cast Satan and angels out of heaven and the context emphasizes they are “no place… in heaven; cast to the earth; has been cast down; has come down to you; cast to the earth.” They being “cast to the earth” the precise reason given for this even causing “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth” (Rev. 12:7-13). That exegesis fits prophetic texts which depict angelic warfare in the skies and on earth (Jdg. 5:20; 2 Ki. 19:35; 2 Chron. 32:21; Dan. 10:13, 20) in the end time (Isa. 24:21; 34:4; Dan. 8:10; 9:27; 11:38-39).

Growing in popularity is Ancient Alien Theory which claims God and the angels are extraterrestrial beings. That also is the preaching of demonic spirits inspiring dreams and visions of “UFO Experiencers”. The “trans dimensional beings” claim to be the “Elohim”, designers of life on earth”. The most likely cause of the end-time global rebellion against all called God or worshiped would be a “UFO invasion.” It would change historic concepts of God, changing “times and law” (Dan. 7:25; 2 Thess. 2:3-4). From the symbolism of Revelation 16:13-16 it would appear Ancient Alien Theory (flying frogs) will be the demonically inspired “Big Lie” that deceives the earth to fight God at Armageddon (2 Thess. 2:9-12; Rev. 16:13-14, 16).

[003] First Seal: Rider on White Horse False Christ (aka Man of Sin; Lawless One) Matt. 24:4-5; Rev. 6:2; 2 Thess. 2:3, 8

1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.”
2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. (Rev. 6:1-2 NKJ)

In the first four seals (Rev. 6:1, 3, 5, 7) the KJV reads “come and see”. A living creature is commanding John to “come and see” what happens on earth through a viewer. Modern Bibles delete “and see” changing the interpretation to the horsemen being commanded to “come” forth presumably from heaven. But the four demon riders are not from heaven as 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8 makes clear, the first rider is the “Lawless One” and he is a spawned by Satanic energy that had its restraint taken out of the way. That is confirmed in Daniel 8:24 “his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power” and by a foreign god in Daniel 11:38-39. The “foreign god” is the Dragon Satan disguised as an Extraterrestrial Commander of a UFO fleet. The earth in globalist ecstasy willingly created the Grecian Roman Empire Beast and anoint the Man of Sin False Christ as its first “Chancellor” on the command of the Dragon.

The false Christ “mouth of a lion” (Rev. 13:2) “man of sin” (2 Thess. 2:3) “prince” (Dan. 9:26) covenants with the world’s religions the first half (Dan. 9:27) of the end time week. Perhaps giving them time to accept His claim to be Christ. The Rider’s bow has no arrows because Satan crowns him (Rev. 13:2, 4; Dan. 8:24), the earth in globalist ecstasy willingly submit to the New World Order under the False Christ. [004] Daily Sacrifice to Christ ends when Church receives “Man of Sin” as “The Christ”. Dan. 12:11; 2 Thess. 2:3-4

Our LORD Jesus Christ prayed “(whoever reads, let him understand)” (Matt. 24:15 NKJ) because He knew the “Temple of God” and “Daily Sacrifice” in the End Time would not be found in Christ rejecting Judaism. If it were, Daniel would have understood these words clearly. But he could not because “Temple of God” and “Daily Sacrifice” and “Abomination of Desolation” have new meaning in the New Covenant of Christ’s blood. The “saints” now include the greater “Israel of God” (Gal. 6:15-16), Jew and Gentile descendants of Abraham’s seed (Gal. 3:27-29). The Temple priesthood and Daily Sacrifice are in the Christian Church. The Church is the Temple of God (1 Cor. 3:16-17; 6:19; 2 Cor. 6:16; Eph. 2:21), Christians its priests (1 Pet. 2:5). We offer up “the Daily Sacrifice” (1 Pet. 2:5; Rom. 12:1; Lk. 9:23; Heb. 13:15).

9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 “Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

The New Testament church has the “holy priesthood, to offer up “spiritual sacrifices” (πνευματικὰς θυσίας) acceptable to God” (1 Pet. 2:5). Christians “offer (399 ἀναφέρω anaphero) sacrifice (2378 θυσία thusia)” to God, the same word used in the Greek Septuagint to offer (399 ἀναφέρω anaphero) the “daily” (08548 תָּמִיד tamiyd) 1 Ch. 16:40; 23:31; 2 Ch. 2:3; 24:14 in the Hebrew version.

The Christian daily sacrifice is offered “continually” (1275 διαπαντός) to God. In Hebrews 13:1-17 the ethical exhortations being an expansion of the acceptable duties priests offer God daily (Heb. 12:28 λατρεύωμεν εὐαρέστως τῷ θεῷ).

Christ is our perpetual sacrifice for sin (Heb. 10:11-18), the daily sacrifice to Him is our “taking up the cross daily”. The “apostasy” or “revolt” that “takes away” (Dan. 12:11 05493 סוּר cuwr; 868 ἀφίστημι) the sacrifice is receiving the false Christ man of sin as “the Christ”. Then the end time “week” of seven-years begins.

At 1,260 days the “false Christ” “Man of Sin” morphs into the seed of Satan (Gen. 3:15) “Son of Destruction” (2 Thess. 2:3-4) pompous mouth (Rev. 13:5) blaspheming God and His holy angels. Then a quantum computing network in his image begins enforcing the 666 mark membership only economy. It required an additional 30 days for that “abomination that causes desolation” to be set up; 30 days + 1,260 days (42 months; 3 ½ years) equal 1,290 days.

That’s when the Great Tribulation for the Church ramps up, as they refuse to accept the Mark of the Beast they are slaughtered (Rev. 14:12-13).

[005] First Trumpet: Hail and fire mixed with blood signify judgment for Apostasy, a third of Christendom’s Leaders and all who follow them are eternally destroyed Rev. 8:7.

The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. (Rev. 8:7 NKJ)

What happened to “shorter reading is better?” New Bibles add “and a third of the earth was burned up”, which creates a contradiction. If a third is burned up at the first Trumpet, where did the 2/3rds come from in the next two Trumpets? Best we stick with the KJV & NKJ “Majority Text” of the Greek NT and not let a scribal addition reproduced in a tiny stream of inferior texts lead us astray.

The first three Trumpets kill Christendom completely, 1/3rd at a time. This hail kills a third of Trees/leaders in Christendom, and all the grass/followers living under their shade.

When literal hail and fire struck ancient Egypt (Ex. 9:23-26) it destroyed trees and grass. The “signification” of hail and fire mingled with blood is striking an apostate church having bloodguilt (2 Th. 2:3). In the opening scene an angel takes fire from God’s altar and casts it to the earth, signifying this is a judgment of God against an apostate church. Recompense for sin against God’s saints (Rev. 6:9-11). Jesus predicted apostates would betray believers to the Beast (Mt. 24:9-10). This is the wrath of God, unlike Revelation 11:19 where the hail remains in heaven, this hail is unleashed on the apostates (Ps. 78:47; Hag. 2:17). God’s decree symbolized by “noises, thunderings, lightnings” which include an earthquake because earth is about to be radically shaken by this display power. The Hail destroys the refuge of lies and affirms God’s authority (Is. 28:17; 30:30; 32:19; Ezek. 13:11, 13). Fire (Rev. 1:5) and blood (Rev. 16:6) signify God’s judgment is the apostates die eternally.

The seals Trumpets and bowls events overlap each other in time. Like Quentin Tarantino’s movie “Pulp Fiction”, past, present and future scenes appear without affecting the actual linear plot.

Mountains can signify enemies of God (Isa. 41:15), the king of Babylon is likened to a great destroying mountain:

The Destroying Mountain is New King of Babylon the “lion mouth” False Christ Chancellor of the Grecian Roman Empire that rises from the sea, with the city of Babylon’s mortal wound healed and now its capitol. In this context the wilderness is not a place of deprivation, it’s a place of refuge where God is experienced (Rev. 12:14; 1 Ki. 19:4; Num. 14:22; Deut. 2:7; 32:10; Ps. 68:7). As the true church exists in the midst of Christendom and its apostate TARES, fleeing to the wilderness signifies separation from the apostates. While they are trampling the outer courtyard, Christians remain holy and obedient to God worshipping Him at His altar:

1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.

The Holy Spirit will be poured out on the church worshipping God at His altar. The two witness are called the “two olive trees” for that is the source of the oil (signifying the Holy Spirit) burning in the Lamps lighting up the world with God’s light (Zech. 4:1-14). Fiery red signifies bloodshed because of the fires of war. The sword given to him is “great” because it causes widespread bloodshed whether in civil or international conflict. People hate and kill each other for differences in opinion.

There are four living creatures before the throne of God, each a different viewer and they beckon to John “Come and see” through their viewer what Satan strategically sends out onto the earth (Rev. 6:1, 3, 5, 7). God is not sending these demon riders, Satan is. Its strategic, by overwhelming the earth with war, famine and plague the earth will cry out for a Savior, the False Christ and then the Dragon and his promise of global peace and safety (1 Thess. 5:3).

Some (Charles; Moffatt) make the case “Death (2288 θάνατος thanatos)” should be rendered “Pestilence” given the context and its appearance in the LXX translating the Hebrew (01698 דֶּבֶר deber) over thirty times. The rider’s horse is “pale, a sickly looking horse. Most versions translate the second appearance of thanatos as “pestilence” or “plague”.

Pestilence is the common denominator, arising from war, famine, pestilence and by beasts of the earth such as rats:

Bible prophecy reveals the blasphemy against God pertain to His Name, His dwelling and His hosts (Rev. 13:6). Insulting the reasons Yehovah alone is God is blasphemy against His Name, and simultaneously insults the uniqueness of His dwelling. However, for an insult that can blaspheme all three must pertain to the nature of God’s hosts the Elohim; God and His Sons. Confirming the blasphemy insults the nature of God are Paul words in 2 Thessalonians 2:4, that the Beast “opposes and exalts himself above all called God…showing himself that he is God.” He “opposes” the historic definition of God and exalts himself as having a nature above what is called Elohim. In a twinkling of an eye they will be raised up incorruptible (1 Corinthians 15:51-58).

AFTER the Tribulation of those days, while the bowls of God’s wrath are still being poured out, the “sign of Christ’s presence” will light up the sky worldwide, and Christ will send forth His angels to gather His elect who missed the rapture (Mt. 24:21-31; Lk. 17:26-37; Mk. 13:24-27). Then brings all of them with Him as He arrives with His Holy Myriads (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18) to war against the Beast at Armageddon (Ps. 110:3; Rev. 19:13-21).

In both cases, those left behind are likened to those who died by the Flood of Noah’s Day, or fire in Sodom. All left behind become food for carrion birds (Rev. 19:17-18) or some other calamity. Its odd how few connect the dots, in these parallels Christ emphasizes the destruction of those not saved, so when asked “where LORD” His answer isn’t about the taken, only those left behind.

The nations are deceived into making this image, “deception” (4105 πλανάω planao) required to overcome fear of tyranny an AI Network controlling the global economy made possible. Interfaced with the AI, Adonikam the Beast can see and hear everything near a connected device in real time as though he were God Himself. Like an artificial life-form, the Network can defend itself successfully against attacks.

The AI is patterned in the image of the Beast, his evil personality governs it. Its Icon (1504 εἰκών eikon) is the image of the Beastly Empire or Beast Emperor or both. Likely it doubles as “the Mark of the Beast” or is part of it.

Like the Swastika was in Nazi Germany, it will be everywhere. Everyone will know it proclaims rebellion against Yehovah God, no one was deceived into receiving the mark. They rejoice in the delusion they can defeat Yehovah! Like the Days of Noah (Mt. 24:37-39), Nephilim Fallen Angels and Man conspire against Yehovah hoping to seduce His sons and daughters (Gen. 6:1-5; Mk. 9:42-49). Therefore, the worst punishment is reserved for them:

Under the guise of fairly distributing earth’s scarce resources, nations were deceived in creating this monster and now all must worship Adonikam or they cannot buy or sell.

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,

If it were not for the economic collapse that occurred when rebuilt Babylon was destroyed (Rev. 18:11), its unlikely even the signs and wonders accomplished by the Anglo-American False Prophet could have convinced the nations give control of their economies to Emperor Adonikam. Prior to The Fourth Lateran Council of 1215 AD, some in the church believed angels had corporeal nature suited to the heavenly realm, that they were not immaterial spirits. Scripture depicts them eating and drinking with Abraham, pulling Lot into the house and shuting the door, wrestling with Jacob who held the angel fast and would not release Him, sitting under a tree with Gideon, waking Peter up and helping him rise to his feet. Angels can be unwittingly entertained by humans who believe they are helping strangers.

 

“So he took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate.” Genesis 18:8

Hebrews 1:14 “ministering spirits” does not contradict this, metaphorically angels function as “ministering spirits”, its not a statement about their essence. God wouldn’t have to “make them “spirits” if they already were, neither is He making them literal fire  (Hebrews 1:7).  This is metaphorical language describing them as swift and powerful, not defining their essence.

 

The theory they “materialize” physical  forms to interact with humans isn’t taught in scripture and in fact contradicts God alone kills and makes alive (Deut. 32:39) and that He alone has creative power  (Neh. 9:6).

 

Never does scripture depict angels or men changing their essence as they cross dimensions into the other realm. Jacob saw angels climb down a ladder, Elijah crossed over in a chariot through a whirlwind, Moses and Elijah appeared on the  Mount of Transfiguration when the Kingdom was present in power, John went through a door:

 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. (Gen. 28:12 NKJ)

 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2 Ki. 2:11 NKJ)

 

And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power… And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. (Mk. 9:1, 4 )

 

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” (Rev. 4:1 NKJ)

 

Jesus appeared in the midst of the disciples, he didn’t walk through doors or walls. He said He was not a spirit and they touched His body and He ate fish to prove He was physical:

 

³⁶ Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. Christ said resurrected believers would be “equal to the angels” and as they will rise physically from the dead in “supernatural bodies” it follows angels also have corporeal nature that is “equal” to them.

 

Moreover, when Paul was discussing the various types of heaven bodies that exist, they were all  physical “soma”, not spirit “pneuma”. The resurrection body is a body infused with spirit, not immaterial spirit. It is the same “physical body infused with spirit” that Christ has:

 

There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory… It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (1 Cor. 15:40-42, 44)

 

Spirits don’t get resurrected, physical bodies do.

 

For this reason Christians should not be surprised when Satan and his fallen angels appear in physically in a fleet of UFO ships. They use advanced technology to go from place to place. We see that in Ezekeil chapter 1, and scripture expressly declares the stars fought Sisera from heaven:

 

They fought from the heavens; The stars from their courses fought against Sisera. (Jdg. 5:20 NKJ)

 

Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Regardless how one interprets the symbolism, the angel of the LORD is depicted as seated in a craft that moves.

 

This is why UFOs do NOT prove ancient alien theory at all. Angels use advanced technology. When Satan and his angels appear on earth after Michael and his angels cast they out of heaven, it’s a strong delusion they are extraterrestrial beings, a Big Lie deception of epic proportions.

 

 

 

Revelation 9:1-12 – Fifth Trumpet Commentary

Verse 1: “Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless (Abyss) pit.

• The “star” represents an angel, not a celestial body. This angel had already “fallen” (Greek: pipto) before the trumpet was sounded, signifying readiness for this task. He was waiting for God’s restraint on spiritism to end (2 Thess. 2:6-7).
• This angel is distinct from Satan or the demons; it later uses the key to imprison Satan in Revelation 20:1-2.
• The key to the “pit of the abyss” (Abyss) represents divine authority to release the worst of the worst demons in the “pit of the abyss.”
• The Abyss is the prison of evil spirits, the “pit of the abyss” is reserved for the worst of the Demons. When corporeal demons died in the Flood their spirits were imprisoned in “the pit of the abyss” as punishment for the evil they caused after the fall of Adam.

 

Verse 2: “And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.”

• The opening of the Abyss unleashes spiritual forces previously restrained by God’s decree (cf. 2 Thess. 2:6-7).
• The imagery of smoke darkening the sun and air signifies the evil God was permitting be released earth.
• This act is an aspect of God’s restraint on evil being “taken out of the way” fulfilling the prophecy in 2 Thessalonians 2:7-10.

Verse 3: “Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”

• The locusts are satanic creations or fallen angel technology  symbolized by their coming out of the smoke of the pit. These are possessed by the demon spirits to enable them to affect the material world and torment humanity.
• Their power is like scorpions, capability to inflict painful, debilitating torment.

Verse 4: “They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”

• Unlike natural locusts, these demonic entities are restricted to harming only humans without God’s protective seal, emphasizing divine control over judgment.
• Grass, any green thing or tree represent those potentially receiving God’s seal.
• The seal marks true believers in Christ, distinguishing them from apostates and unrepentant individuals.

Verse 5: “And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.”

• The five-month period symbolizes completeness. It matches the average locust life-span to imply they torment unceasingly until the appointed end.
• As these are spiritually dead in contrast to the spiritually alive, they must be followers of the false Christ “man of sin” (2 Thess. 2:3). The punishment is from Satan meted out by his demon locusts. These “tares” or “children of the devil” are resisting the Son of Destruction, still feigning allegiance to Christ. Satan doesn’t have much time, the torment facilitates their conversion.
• The completeness signifies the efficacy of the torment, 100% success as it forced the apostates to reveal their true allegiance to Satan.

Verse 6: “In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.”

• Their desire to die is repeated twice to emphasize their hopelessness. They know they are damned, making it worse by worshipping the Son of Destruction has driven them into total despair.

Verse 7: “The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.”

• Their appearance as “horses prepared for battle” signifies readiness for war.
• Crowns of gold symbolize their authority as  Satanic principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12).
• Human-like faces indicate they are fallen angels.

Verse 8: “They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth.”

• They had  “hair like women’s hair” to identify them as the fallen angels who cohabitated with humans in Genesis 6:1-4. Their sin is on their head for all to see.
• Their “lions’ teeth” symbolize their ferocity and capacity for destruction.

Verse 9: “And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.”

• The iron breastplates signify their invulnerability to human resistance.
• The noise of their wings echoes military machinery, suggesting they are Satanic  technology, “biomechanic” for the spirits of demons to possess and control.

Verse 10: “They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months.”

• The scorpion-like tails emphasize the physical torment they inflict, again limited to five months.
• This symbolizes a specific, period of suffering needed to complete its work on the apostates.

Verse 11: “And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.”

• The king of these demonic locusts is Abaddon/Apollyon, meaning “Destroyer.” These signify the Devil, the angel of the abyss is a messenger whose siren call leads to imprisonment in the Abyss. Heed this angel and eternal destruction results.
• This reinforces the locusts’ identity as demonic agents under Satan’s dominion.

Verse 12: “One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.”

• The “three woes of spiritism” (Rev. 8:13). First woe Rev. 9:1-12; Second Woe is Rev. 9:13-21 (Rev. 10:1-11:13 a literary and theological parenthesis, therefore 9:14 begins Rev. 9:21). The Third Woe is (Rev. 12:9-12).
