Ancient Aliens or Angels?

Ancient aliens were angels, not extraterrestrials. Angels are physical beings who dwell in a parallel Universe the apostle Paul calls “the perfect” (“complete” 5046 τέλειος teleios). Normally it is invisible to us dwelling in “that which is in part” (“the partial” 3313 μέρος meros) (1 Cor. 13:10). [1]

Their technology is wondrous, angels built heavenly “New Jerusalem” (Rev. 21:10-21). The Ruling Elite keeps secret all dealings with these Beings to protect the massive transfer of wealth from Taxpayers to themselves. Billions are spent reverse engineering “alien technology” only to profit them when it is farmed out to the chosen in the military industrial complex. Thus, the Ruling Elites are in “on the ground floor” of many technological advances, becoming fabulously wealthy and powerful while the nation drowns in debt.

However, this blog isn’t about such matters. I focus on the proposition “ancient aliens” seeded Christianity, are the reason for much of what we read in the Bible.

For an exposition of Genesis 6 where Satan’s angels are called “Nephilim” and God’s angels “the sons of God” fall from grace, see The Nephilim: Satan’s Fallen Angels

No attempt will be made to repeat the excellent articles readers can find at Creation.com (https://creation.com/ufos-not-extraterrestrial) and now in a movie (Alien Intrusion, Unmasking a Deception https://alienintrusion.com/) by Author Gary Bates. His excellent collation of secular and scriptural research linking the “strong delusion” to “ancient alien theory” cannot be stated better by me. Everyone should visit his site for that material.

This blog concerns only “how unlikely it is UFO ancient aliens seeded Christianity, its Holy Book the Bible.

Think only the nutty wonder about that?

Barry Downing was a Presbyterian Minister but lost his faith believing Jesus was an ET, and he had a PhD in religion and science from the University of Edinburgh, physics from Harwick College and a degree from Princeton. He was pastor of the Northminister NY Presbyterian Church.

But he shouldn’t have, wouldn’t have if he thought critically on the conclusion. Its a clear violation of Occam’s Razor.

For argument’s sake, lets accept some of the Bible texts cited are examples of “non-human visitation and technology”, there are two possible explanations:

1) Extraterrestrial Astronauts; 2) Extraterrestrial Angels of God PRECISELY what the Bible says they are.

When deliberating on which explanation the more probable, we must infer what the different entities would teach humans.

Why would Extraterrestrials teach life was created solely on Earth?

If God were an alien, and had plans of returning some day, then wouldn’t there be mention of other places in the heavens?

And why would God teach He is INFINITE, that the universe cannot CONTAIN His being?

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? (1 Ki. 8:27 KJV)

WHY would God insist nothing in the heavens above, earth or in the sea, even remotely looks like Him? Wouldn’t there be a some exception he could take advantage of when He returned?

15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:

16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,

18 The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:

(Deut. 4:15-18 KJV)

18 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him? (Isa. 40:18 KJV)

5 To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like? (Isa. 46:5 KJV)

I’m just scratching the surface. What alien astronaut would teach the moral code of scripture? Its not too popular today, especially among those who claim to have met UFO aliens. Why demand idols not be made, wouldn’t the alien astronaut in the above picture want to be recognizable when he returned?

The great doctrines of Holy Scripture, the virgin birth, Holy Trinity, heaven and hell, etc. Would ET teach those things? if so, why?

The entire premise is absurd, there is absolutely no way the Bible would be the product of alien beings.

Let’s consider the other possibility. That God really does exist, but He being INFINITE has finite beings called “angels” who appeared on earth on occasion, sometimes using technology, to accomplish His will. Then all the moral and theological teachings of scripture harmonizes with the premise.

Therefore, Occam’s Razor favors these beings are angels and not Extraterrestrial Astronauts.

Their use of technology wouldn’t change their angel nature, just as using technology doesn’t change our human nature.

The book of Ezekiel illustrates this well. Technology is clearly evident in the symbolism of God’s Throne appearing on earth. The doctrine of the Angel of the LORD where God’s presence in an angel is of such a degree he speaks as God in the first person, pre-incarnate theophany of Christ is well established Trinitarian doctrine. Nothing diminishes Infinite Almighty God, in whom everything lives and moves and has its being. It follows angels would use technology precisely because they are intelligent finite beings like man. We need it to get around and do stuff. It changes nothing about the moral teaching of the book. Same with New Jerusalem in the book of Revelation (Rev. 21:2). If we learn angels built it, for someone must have as it seems real enough (Rev. 21:10-27), is it then any less the City of God? Of course not.

Once we concede angels use technology, that its revealed in scripture but the interpreters of the past missed this—nothing changes.

Christianity remains 100% sound, the Bible 100% inerrant. Wrong interpretation doesn’t effect either at all. For example, God remains infinite Almighty God, the Holy One completely separate from His finite creation. Everything that exists does so by His Power and Permission:

In Him all things consist like a thought (Col. 1:17). Both angels and men “live and move and have their being” within Him (Acts 17:28) and technology cannot make finite equal to infinite God in any aspect of being.

If God should choose, all things would change with just a thought, a change of His mind. Immediately all things would dissolve in a fervent heat (2 Pt. 3:10-12) if God should just think it so.

To graphically illustrate how pathetic the strong delusion is, that man could win against God, consider exhibit A:

14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

17 “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” (Rev 6:14-17 NKJ)

Both angels and men are like sardines in a can, when God rolls back the lid, their terror will be indescribable.

The matrix of heaven and earth are but parallel universes in a meta-universe that coheres by the power of God’s mind and will . Christ as the Word gives concrete expression to the thoughts of Triune YHWH (Jn. 1:1-3; Ps. 33:6; 2 Cor. 4:6). When the Eternal Father asks the Eternal Son His only-begotten to roll back the lid our sardine can, where will you be? With Him, or with those crying out to the mountains to fall upon them?

Not saved? Go to your nearest Bible believing church and tell the pastor you want to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. No church nearby, then do it on your own, publicly confess you want Jesus as your LORD above all, even life itself for it is written:

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Rom 10:9-13 NKJ)

I did that more than 35 years ago and never looked back, you will be glad you did.

There are no Extraterrestrial races. There are angels who use technology, and us. We are the “crown of creation,” and contrary to the Jefferson Airplane song, we got everywhere to go. The Infinite Universe was created for humanity to play in, for all eternity. Its God’s gift of love to us.

Everything I wrote on my site is the result of my independent studies, I’m not copying anyone else. It is special to discover Dr. David Allen Lewis preceded me by decades, I’m watching this video now for the first time. His predictions arose from analytical study of scripture, so do mine. While we don’t agree on all things, the agreement is phenomenal. Its very confirming he’s been predicting these things starting in 1955 well ahead of my time and yet we are in almost 100% agreement. Its astounding.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
10 but when that which is complete (5046 τέλειος teleios) has come, then that which is partial (3313 μέρος meros) will be done away with.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known. (1 Cor. 13:9-12 RPTE)

When the “Kingdom of God” containing the full revelation of God has come, the “kingdom of man” lacking the full revelation of God “will be done away”—the lessor pushed out of existence by the greater somewhat as “childhood” is replaced by “adulthood”, ignorance by knowledge.

Like the theoretical Multiverse, two parallel Universes coexist in the infinite Mind of Christ (Col. 1:17), separated by a thin dimensional barrier rendering them imperceptible to each other.

As the TELEIOS “complete” will push the MEROS “partial” into nonexistence, it follows physical beings in the MEROS are less substantial than inhabitants of the TELEIOS. The opposite of what the church commonly believes today (1 Cor. 15:39-41).

While immaterial spirits exist in the TELEIOS (1 Kings 22:22), its abundantly clear scripture teaches physical existence is the norm, the more common state of Being.

The Multiverse Matrix consists (came into being) by and in the Infinite God the Word Jesus Christ (John 1:1-3; Gen. 1:1; Col. 1:17). Prior to the Incarnation Infinite God localized His presence for the benefit of finite creatures in heaven via a theophany. The Word of God manifested the “form of God” (μορφῇ θεοῦ Phil. 2:6 cp. Gen. 3:8) in heaven. Or God would by manifestation of the Holy Spirit (Rev. 5:1-6), put His “Name” there (Deut. 12:5-7; Exod. 23:20-21) to commune with His creatures. Since the Incarnation, God physically (Lk. 24:29) via the resurrected human body of Christ Jesus (Phil. 2:8-11; 2 Cor. 4:6) communes with the inhabitants in heaven (Rev. 5:6-14).

Scripture implies Jesus physically traveled through a dimensional portal (Gen. 28:12; Rev. 4:1; Heb. 11:5; John 1:51) to ‘stand in their midst’ in our “partial reality”. The context does NOT say He went “through locked door and walls” to be among them. He simply appeared and “stood in their midst” (John 20:19, 26). When Jesus commanded doubting Thomas to touch “my hands…my side”, it proves it was His human body itself that stood before them, not some “materialized” fabrication.

That dimensional portals into our sphere of existence, exist in heaven is seen in the best texts [Byzantine, TR]. John is commanded to “Come and see” through different “heavenly portals” to see different events on the earth (Rev. 6:1, 3, 5, 7).

Moses and Elijah went through a portal on the Mount of transfiguration when “the kingdom of God had come in power”. Peter’s desire to erect tents for them confirms they were physically present (Mark 9:1-5). Elijah passed through a portal in the whirlwind to enter heaven (2 Ki. 2:11). When the angel of the LORD came as Gideon threshed wheat, he sat under a tree cloaked from visibility for a time, until he chose to appear (Judges 6:11-12). Elisha prayed the young man’s eyes be opened so he see the cloaked by invisibility angelic host (2 Kings. 6:17).

Paul didn’t know if he was “in the body” or “out of the body” when he went to third heaven because its possible to be physical in heaven (1 Cor. 12:2-4). “Flesh and blood” is figurative for “unregenerate fallen flesh reeking of corruption”, it cannot inherit God’s kingdom (1 Cor. 15:50). That says nothing about being physical in heaven. Everything scriptural implies “Heavenly Jerusalem” is an actual city, not a phantom (Rev. 3:12; 21:10-27).

The “sign of Christ’s coming” will be an “opening in heaven” according to the Didache (16:6). A dimensional portal “opens in the heavens” flashing lightning from East to West, and through it Jesus returns with His Holy Myriads (Rev. 19:11; Mt. 24:27).

It is a contradiction to this data Angels must materialize physical forms to interact with us in our reality. Moreover, the ability to make physical bodies alive is possessed by God alone (Deut. 32:39 compare “He was granted [by God] to give life” Rev. 13:15).

Clearly, the Fourth Lateran Council ruling angels are incorporeal is to be rejected:

The Fourth Lateran Council separates angelic from corporeal natures, and Petavius rightly characterises the contrary opinion as “proximate to heresy.” At the same time, angels are capable of assuming bodies; to which they are for the time intimately united; which they move and which they use to represent either their own invisible nature or the attributes of God. Passages of Scripture, which imply this, will readily occur to the reader.-Addis, W. E., & Arnold, T. (1887). In A Catholic Dictionary (Sixth Edition, With Additions, p. 25).
